    Index
    apply?: boolean

Whether a good result becomes the moving mesh's placement, as one undo step: it must converge, with rmse within maxRmse and at least half of the points overlap expects in range. Anything else is not applied, whatever this says; RegisterResult.notApplied says why. Default true.

    maxDistance?: number

Points farther than this from the fixed mesh (world units) are not used. Default: no limit.

    maxIterations?: number

The most solver steps. 0 only measures the current placement. Default 50.

    maxRmse?: number

The largest rmse (world units) that may be applied, to keep a wrong local minimum from moving the mesh. Default: 1% of the moving points' extent, reported as RegisterResult.maxRmse. Scans noisier than that need their own limit; Infinity turns the guard off.

    maxSamples?: number

The most points of the moving mesh to use, evenly spaced over its triangles' centroids and its vertices. rmse is measured on these. Default 100,000.

    overlap?: number

The fraction of the moving mesh expected to lie over the fixed one, in (0, 1]: each iteration uses that many of its points, closest first, so the rest (the part beyond the overlap, and outliers) do not pull the result. Set it a little below the true overlap for partial scans. Default 1: every point counts, and nothing is rejected.

    tolerance?: number

Stops when one step moves every point by at most this fraction of the moving mesh's extent (the largest distance of its points from their centroid). Default 1e-6.
