Expand description

One chain of a section: a closed loop or an open polyline.

Fields§

§points: Vec<[f64; 3]>

The crossing point of each edge in edges, in world coordinates.

§uv: Vec<[f64; 2]>

The same points in the section plane’s (u, v) frame.

§edges: Vec<(VertexId, VertexId)>

The crossed edge (min id, max id) of each point.

§triangles: Vec<TriangleId>

The triangle of each segment: triangles[i] joins point i to point i + 1, and the last one of a closed contour joins the last point to the first.

§closed: bool

Whether the last point joins back to the first.

§oriented: bool

Whether every segment runs the same way along the contour. On a closed, outward-wound mesh outer loops run counter-clockwise in (u, v) and holes clockwise.

§manifold: bool

Whether no end of the contour is a split at a non-manifold edge.

§length: f64

The length of the polyline (with the closing segment when closed).

§area: f64

The signed area in (u, v), positive counter-clockwise; 0 when open.
